Newcastle vs Everton kicks off at 9pm in Nigeria and Kinshasa on Monday, 2 November 2026. St James’ Park hosts the Premier League match. The teams meet again after Everton’s 3-1 League Cup win in midweek, adding an immediate test of Newcastle’s response.

Newcastle vs Everton kick-off time

Newcastle’s official fixture list gives an 8pm UK kick-off. That is 20:00 GMT, or 21:00 West Africa Time. Therefore, supporters in Nigeria and Kinshasa can use the same local start time for this fixture.

The match takes place in Newcastle, rather than at Everton’s ground. This matters because the previous meeting was the cup tie on Merseyside. Both the venue and the competition have changed for the return meeting.

Latest team-news reports

Sports Mole’s 1 November team-news round-up lists Tino Livramento and Ewen Jaouen as unavailable for Newcastle. It also lists Will Osula, Lewis Miley and Matias Fernandez-Pardo as doubts. These are pre-match reports, not the confirmed starting team.

For Everton, the same report flags uncertainty over Jack Grealish and Jarrad Branthwaite. However, a doubt does not mean a player will definitely miss the game. The clubs’ official team sheets will settle who starts and who makes the bench.

What could decide the match?

Newcastle need to respond to the cup defeat without losing their shape. An aggressive start may lift the home crowd, but leaving space behind the midfield could help Everton attack. The balance between pressure and cover is worth watching.

Everton, meanwhile, have a recent result to build on. Even so, a win in one competition does not guarantee the same outcome away from home. Newcastle can change both their selection and their approach.

Watching from Nigeria

The UK television listing does not confirm broadcast rights in Nigeria or DR Congo. Check your local provider’s match schedule before paying for a package. Also, treat any predicted line-up as provisional until the official announcement.
